What's up the huge MCR obssesion. They aren't THAT good. They've only got a few good songs. whereas all of linkin park, three days grace, and good charlotte's songs are good.

Eww....MCR is gross. Weezer is like the only good rock band. But I picked Igneous rock anyway. Lava rocks are HOT!

emo! (surprise, everyone, i know. you couldn't tell from the way i dress.) i like mcr, though i don't listen to them much, and linkin park is good, too. ever tryed listening to papa roach? most of their songs are a combo of emo/metal. same with matchbook romance.

MCR has more than a few good songs The whole "I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love" album sucks, but they have three other good ones.

They've got like 1...2...3...4...5...FIVE good songs, but they're more alt than rock.

Oh come on, Weezer is better than any mainstream or emo rock you've got. But it is pretty alt. (That's what makes them so good.) I guess I like them mostly because their lyrics actually make sense.

It's obviously a slap in the face to the record company. Geffen, the label, wanted Weezer to record more commercial material. Rivers Cuomo didn't want to and was pretty pissed. So he wrote Pork and Beans declaring he was not going to change who he was for a stupid record company. ("I'mma do the things that I wanna do/I ain't got a thing to prove to you")
